Through The Purple Haze - #31

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend. I'm here this morning with my make for the latest challenge from
Through The Purple Haze Challenges
& we have a nice easy theme for you this week, it is
USE A DIGI
If you join in you have the chance to win a prize of 3 digis from our sponsor, the fabulous
I knew I wanted to make a boy/man's card, as I don't seem to make enough of them, so I picked
the Boy Gamer digi & here is my make
I started off with a white card base & layered some green digi paper onto it, I then printed the same paper in blue & randomly stamped with distress inks, I used peeled paint & faded denim. I then inked the edges with the peeled paint My gaming paper is from The Paper Shelter, I brought it into CraftArtist & layered 2 of the same paper on each other & played around with the layers to give me a greener colour.

I used my promarkers to colour the image & cut it out on the cameo

My sentiment was also cut out on the cameo & I inked the back panel of it in peeled paint. I added some thread to buttons & stuck them on.

I hope you'll join us this week & thanks so much for stopping by.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Open Minded Crafting: Use something green (used buttons & colour)
Suzy Bee's Bloomin' Challenge: Masculine
Cards Galore Encore: Use a digi/stamp
Creative Corner: Green
Savvy Handmade Cards: Photo Inspiration
Paper Crfting Journey: Make it manly

  1. I love your card Teresa, I always stay in the boundaries of my cards and worry about the envelopes but your card looks soooo good I'm going to have to stop being a control freak with my envelopes. X
