Through the Purple Haze Challenges

Boooo, yup it's me :) I've been in hiding for a while lol. I took some time out but now I'm back & what better way to come back than with a new challenge from

Through The Purple Haze Challenges

I've moved teams & am now with the fabby girls from Team B & this week we have been sponsored by

& also by a new sponsor

Our theme this week is
Sweet Summer
& I hope where ever you are the weather is better than here in Ireland, we've had alot of lovely sun the last few weeks but that's left us & we've been having major rain fall :( come back sun, I miss you lol
Anyway, enough of me waffling & on with my make.
I got to use
Smurfette Honey from Sassy Studio Designs & you can find her in the store
I made a 5"x7" card blank from A4 cardstock & printed off a digi paper before matting it onto blue & a layer of silver mirri,I cut a plain border from the blue too.

I matted my coloured image onto the same cards & mounted it, at an angle, onto the base. I added some rolled roses & foliage, cut with my cameo & some gems

My bow was made from some rolls of paper wrapping ribbon I got on offer in Lidl & I made the bow using an afro comb :)

I have tried to use different colours when colouring skin & I recently bought a ebook from the lovely
Donna-Marie, she is just fab with promarkers & all proceeds of the book are going to charity, pop by the fb page to find out how to grab a copy. I so wasn't sure when I was colouring her, I thought the skin looked too dark, but once I had the hair done I was quite happy :) I used shades of blue for the outfit of course, being Smurfette lol
So, there you have it, my first DT effort for Team B, do pop by & see what the rest of the girlies have come up with xxxx

I would like to enter the following challenges:
613 Avenue Create: Anything Goes
Crafting When We Can: Bright Colours
Robyn's Fetish: Square or rectangle cards
Kit & Chowder: Hair Techniques
The Sisters of Craft: Anything Goes
Sister Act Card Challenge: Anything Goes

Fairy Challenges - Whoopsidaisy

Good morning & welcome to another challenge from
.
This week we are being sponsored by
We were given some gorgeous images to work with & here is my card
I just adore this image, I think it's so lovely & delicate so I wanted a card to reflect that. I used pale pink as my base & I used my cameo to cut the background & fold & tuck strip. I then made a little paper bow.

I cut & made some paper flowers in matching shades, along with some flourishes

The image itself has been coloured in with my promarkers, in shades of blue & pinks.
So, there you have it, I had such fun making this project & I am pleased with how it's turned out. Be sure to stop by & see what the rest of the team have come up with
xxxxx

Just Inspirational Challenges

Good morning beautiful people, I hope you are all having a good week so far xx
Welcome to another challenge from
Just Inspirational Challenges
This week it's the turn of
Team A
& our theme is
Ladies
& our fabby sponsor is
I adore Emma's images & you can find them Here
The winner of our challenge gets some fab digis.
So, here is my make
I became the ultra proud owner of a Silhouette Cameo this week so I off course had to use it for this card. I cut my floral backing & mounted it onto my black card base. I cut some extra flowers, flourishes & a 3d paper bow (I so love these bows)

Another angle for ya :)

My image was coloured in with my promarkers & matted onto grey card stock. I added the bow, a rolled rose & some flourishes & assembled the card. I left it without a sentiment for now, as I don't know who it will be for.
The colours I used for the digi were:
Hair & boots - black, cool greys 5, 4 & 2
Top: burgundy, cardinal red & antique pink
Jeans: cool grey 2, cornflower, denim blue & pastel blue.
The bags were coloured in with gel pens.

I do hope you like it & thanks so much for stopping by.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Crafting from the heart: Use red
Come & get it challenges: Make it girly
Simply Create Too: Mother's Day/ For a female
