Through The Purple Haze Challenges- #57 Whoopsidaisy

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend, it was a busy morning for us here, as my little man started senior infants in school. I can't believe how fast the holidays went, we had a wonderful Summer, but now I may be able to get back into my routine, that's the plan anyway lol.
This morning it's time for another challenge from
Through The Purple Haze Challenges
& this week we have been kindly sponsored by
Our theme this week is Anything Goes with optional twist of CAS
& here is my make
I find CAS cards very hard to make, I don't think I ever get them right, but hey I try lol.

I coloured my image using my promarkers in greens & purples. I inked a mat for the digi & the sentiment to match. The gingham card is from my stash & I tied a bow around it. I cut a butterfly with my cameo, assembled the card & added some gems.

She is a little cutie & I coloured her hair blond for a change, I usually go with black or brown.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
1: Crafting From The Heart: Anything Goes
2: 613 Avenue Create: Anything Goes
3: Fairytale Stampers: Everything Goes
4: Robyn's Fetish: Use A Digi

Creative Fingers Challenges - Beccy's Place

Good morning folks, yippppeeee it's Friday. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. I'm here this morning with another great challenge from
Creative Fingers Challenge Blog
& this week we are sponsored by
Beccy's Place
You're bound to find something you like over at the store, so do pop by.
Our theme this week is, as always, Anything Goes & we have an optional twist of Use a Sentiment
Here is my make for this week's challenge, using the very cute Beary Loving
I started off by making a 6"x6" card base from Ivory hammered cardstock. I then cut a gorgeous mat, I cut it from white card as I wasn't sure what colour scheme I was going for, I cut my sentiment & the banner from the same card.

After playing around for a wee while I decided on a monochrome card

The image was coloured in with my promarkers, in various shades of browns

I inked up the sentiment with Vintage Photo distress ink & then used a woodgrain stamp to stamp over it in Walnut Stain

I inked the banner in Vintage photo & again stamped over it with Walnut Stain. My mat was inked with Antique Linen & Vintage Photo, I then stamped the cute music stars on it randomly.
I used pinflair to stick my image down so I could add some dimension.
So, there you have it, thanks so much for stopping by & I really do appreciate all your lovely comments.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Crafting for all Seasons: No DP

Just Inspirational Challenges - Dilly Beans

Good morning blogland, I hope you are all well out there. Welcome to another challenge from
Just Inspirational Challenges
Our theme this week is
 Swirls
& we have lucky to be sponsored by the fabby
Dilly Beans & they are offering the winner a prize of some fab digis
& here is my make

I just love the style of these stamps & had a tough time picking which one to use, I finally settled on
Cinnamon Set, as well as the image it comes with some cute hearts & sentiments.

My background papers are from a Debbie Moore cd - Foiled Flourishes. I layered onto blue cardstock. I then made a panel from the other paper & layered it onto red & then the blue. I used a punch to add a scalloped edge to a border & then added some more of the paper. I die cut some swirls & cut then down to different sizes. After colouring my image I layered it onto the same mats, before assembling the card & adding my stamped sentiment ticket.

My image has been coloured in with my promarkers, I am thinking I need to start adding flexmarkers to my collection now :)
For the hair I used: Burgundy, Cardinal Red & Ruby
For the skin I used: Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush & Baby Pink,
For the dress I have used: Marine, Duck Egg & Cool Aqua

Thanks so much for stopping by, I really appreciate it
xxxxx

Creative Fingers #2 - Beccy's Place.

Good morning beautiful people, it's Friday, yipppeeee. That of course means that as well as nearly being the weekend, we have a new challenge from
Creative Fingers Challenge Blog

& this week we are sponsored by the wonderful

The DT were given some fab images to work with & of course there is a prize for the winner
3 images or 1 digital set
Our theme this week is:
Use a sentiment.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with, & onto my make

I got to play with the lovely Rose Fairy . Once I'd decided on my colour scheme. I hadn't much in the peach colour scheme range of papers, so for my mats I coloured the edges in peach promarker. I decided on a tent style card & built up my mats & layers. I used a punch for the edge of the mat & layered a digi paper on top. I found a cut off of decorative border I had cut from before my poor robo died lol, so I coloured it again in peach & mounted it on top of the card.

I recoloured some little paper roses from my stash & die cut a leaf from patterned paper. I made up my sentiment in craft artist & attached it with a raise in the centre.

I coloured Rose in promarkers & I tried something new with the shading on the face, I am chuffed with how it turned out, but now I need to remember how I did it lol.

So, there you have it, thanks for looking & I hope you'll join us this week. Do pop by & see what the rest of the DT have come up with too :)

Creative Fingers Challenges - #1 Delicious Doodles

Good morning everyone, I hope you've all had a great week. It's been a busy one here as my wee man started school & I finally got the cast off my leg, it'll still be a long road but I'm getting there
& now to top it off it's time for a fab new challenge from

Creative Fingers Challenge Blog
It's a double challenge with both teams joining in
& we are sponsored by the fabby

Delicious Doodles
& there is of course a prize for the winner of this challenge, you get 4 digis
So our theme for our first challenge is
Anything Goes
& here is my make

I got to use Butterfly Bliss I just love how feminine she is
For my topper I stamped some butterflies & a foral corner stamp with versamark, heat set it & then inked over it using dye inks. I haven't got a cameo (sob, sob) so I drew a dress form, cut it out & then inked it with distress ink. I then ran it through an embossing folder before sanding back the raised edges (your own homemade coredinations) I added some off  cut of glitter paper & a little embellishment to act as a corsage. & then added my coloured image.
For the card base itself I used a 6"x9" piece of card stock & scored it at 6". I then covered the base with glitter paper (adding a punched edge) I over hung the topper & then embellished with some gems.

I used my beloved promarkers to colour the image
& there you have it. I hope you like it & please do stop by all the other girls' blogs to see their fantastic makes.

Just Inspirational Challenges, Beccy's Place.

Good morning fellow bloggers, it's time for a new challenge from

& this week it's the turn of
Team B
Our fabby team co-ordinators have been thinking of ways to make the challenges more appealing  to try entice more of you to enter.
So, it  was decided that instead of having an inspirational photo for each challenge, we would sometimes use one & other times have a photo of something you must use in your creation, for example, this weeks photo is of ribbon so you must include ribbon in your make.
We hope you like the changes.

So, now , onto the challenge.
This week we have been sponsored by the lovely folk at

BeccysPlace
& the prize for the lucky winner is either 3 digis or 1 set

So here is your inspirational photo, & remember you must use ribbons

.

For my project I used one of the TONS of freebies available over at Beccy's Place
Grab a cuppa before you go over, cos you'll be there for ages.

Isn't she a cutey, I choose her because she was so cute, but also because she had ribbons :)
I embossed the back panel & inked with distress inks before mounting on a larger panel.
I added a doily, lots of die cut butterflies & I made some little roses.
I then tied a little bow from white satin ribbon
& there you have it.

I coloured her in promarkers & really tried to add depth to her fur, not my strongest point, but it didn't turn out too bad. I finished her off with a touch of glitter on her tutu.

I hope you like my make & thanks in advance for your comments

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Through The Purple Haze Challenges - Delicious Doodles

Good morning to all my friends in blog land, I hope today finds you well.
It's time for a new challenge from The Hazelnuts on Team A
in

This week our wonderful sponsor is the talented
& of course there is a prize for the lucky winner- 4 digis of your choice.

Our theme this week is
Use Your Dies
I got to use Friends Forever for my project & you can find it in the store.

So here is my make

The papers are all from a digi kit called - At The Horse Races (but I'm afraid I can't remember where I bought it from) I matted & layered the base card & before matting the 2nd paper I ran it through my cuttlebug in an embossing folder & inked it with distress ink. I think it kinda looks like a fence, but that was just a happy accident lol.
I then die cut the stars & threaded them onto string & cut & embossed a flourish.
I put the card together & finished the card off with some stamped tickets & a large button.

I was quite nervous colouring this one up as animals wouldn't be things I colour everyday, but I was happy with how the horse turned out in the end, phew.
As always I used my promarkers to colour, I'd be lost without them.

So there ya have it, I hope you like my card & thanks in advance for all your comments.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Avenue 613 Create: Anything Goes
Challenges 4 Everybody: Always anything goes #28
Pumpkin Spice: Anything Goes #35
