Through The Purple Haze Challenges - #66

Good morning everyone, it seems Winter has arrived here in County Wicklow, it's bitterly cold this morning. So what better way to brighten your day than to have another challenge from
Through The Purple Haze Challenges

This week our theme is Christmas
& we have been sponsored by the fabby

The lucky winner will receive a die, fab yeah?
So, here is my make using
Snowglobe Reindeer Topper die
I decided to make a circle rocker card with the beautiful die.

I think this is one of my fav Christmas dies so far

I kept it simple with some matting & layering & adding some snowflakes & ferns cut on my cameo.
I've added some sparkle, but the camera hasn't picked it up very well.
So there you have it, thanks a mill for stopping by

& today we are sponsored by the wonderfully talented
Our theme this week is Stars/snowflakes
& here is my make, using Holly Sprite, I adore the sprites :)
I used a file from the Silhouette Store to create my scene.

I used a 5x7 base & put some snow flakes down the side.

I them added touches of snow & glitter

The image itself has been coloured with promarkers & I added glitter to the berries, flocking to the trim of her dress & glitter to the muff.
I hope you like it & thanks so much for stopping by.

Through The Purple Haze - #59

Good morning & welcome to our latest challenge from
Through The Purple Haze Challenges
This week we have been lucky to b sponsored by

Our theme this week is
Anything Goes with the option to use wood/chipboard
& here is my make, using Naughty Nurse
I think she's fab & loved colouring her up. I made a tall slim card base & matted some grey card onto it, followed by some red, which I firt ran though an embossing folder. Debossing the top part & embossing the bottom

My sentiment is a little naughty but hey lol

As always, I used my promarkers to colour her up. I added no more embellishment as it was to be for a man, though I'm sorry I didn't add some string now, aw well.

Through The Purple Haze Challenges- #57 Whoopsidaisy

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend, it was a busy morning for us here, as my little man started senior infants in school. I can't believe how fast the holidays went, we had a wonderful Summer, but now I may be able to get back into my routine, that's the plan anyway lol.
This morning it's time for another challenge from
Through The Purple Haze Challenges
& this week we have been kindly sponsored by
Our theme this week is Anything Goes with optional twist of CAS
& here is my make
I find CAS cards very hard to make, I don't think I ever get them right, but hey I try lol.

I coloured my image using my promarkers in greens & purples. I inked a mat for the digi & the sentiment to match. The gingham card is from my stash & I tied a bow around it. I cut a butterfly with my cameo, assembled the card & added some gems.

She is a little cutie & I coloured her hair blond for a change, I usually go with black or brown.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Through The Purple Haze #56

Good morning & welcome to a new week & a new challenge from
Through The Purple Haze Challenges
This week we are sponsored by
& our theme is
Anything Goes
Even though it's team As week I decided to join in on the fun & here is my make using Koko Bramblelashes
I wasn't sure what to do with this image first, it's so cute though & then I had the idea to turn it into a photo lol

I cut my base on my cameo & the camera is a file from the silhouette store

The image was coloured in with my promarkers & I cut the sentiment with the cameo too & ran some glitter pen over it.

I used promarkers to colour in the camera as I had cut it from white card.
I then assembled the whole thing & curled the image a bit to give it more dimension
So there you have my make, thanks for stopping by.

Good morning, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It's time for anther challenge from

& here it is,
The card I made is for a special young lady who is starting school in September, I hope she likes it
My background paper is a digi one & I recoloured it in Craft Artist

I used my cameo it write the tag & then cut it out.

The image, as always, is coloured with my promarkers.

I finished it all off with some ribbon, gems & a glittery butterfly.

Through the Purple Haze Challenges

Boooo, yup it's me :) I've been in hiding for a while lol. I took some time out but now I'm back & what better way to come back than with a new challenge from

Through The Purple Haze Challenges

I've moved teams & am now with the fabby girls from Team B & this week we have been sponsored by

& also by a new sponsor

Our theme this week is
Sweet Summer
& I hope where ever you are the weather is better than here in Ireland, we've had alot of lovely sun the last few weeks but that's left us & we've been having major rain fall :( come back sun, I miss you lol
Anyway, enough of me waffling & on with my make.
I got to use
Smurfette Honey from Sassy Studio Designs & you can find her in the store
I made a 5"x7" card blank from A4 cardstock & printed off a digi paper before matting it onto blue & a layer of silver mirri,I cut a plain border from the blue too.

I matted my coloured image onto the same cards & mounted it, at an angle, onto the base. I added some rolled roses & foliage, cut with my cameo & some gems

My bow was made from some rolls of paper wrapping ribbon I got on offer in Lidl & I made the bow using an afro comb :)

I have tried to use different colours when colouring skin & I recently bought a ebook from the lovely
Donna-Marie, she is just fab with promarkers & all proceeds of the book are going to charity, pop by the fb page to find out how to grab a copy. I so wasn't sure when I was colouring her, I thought the skin looked too dark, but once I had the hair done I was quite happy :) I used shades of blue for the outfit of course, being Smurfette lol
So, there you have it, my first DT effort for Team B, do pop by & see what the rest of the girlies have come up with xxxx
