About Me

My photo

I am a stay at home mum of one gorgeous 4yr old boy, & he certainly keeps me on my toes. I have crafted in some shape or form all my life, I have always loved to draw & paint & I used to do custom murals, back when I had the time lol. I also crochet & scrapbook, but my biggest passions are card making & doing altered canvases. I have been selling my cards for 3yrs now & my canvases & plaques for about 2yrs. It still gives me a buzz that someone wants to buy something I have created.
I will be posting some examples of my work here but you can see & buy any of my work on my facebook business page, I hope you like it.

The theme of this month's challenge is
New Beginnings

For my project I decided to make a card for my friend's & their new baby, how great of a new beginning is the birth of a baby :)
My image is from the fabby Saturated Canary & is called Butterfly Baby
I used some blue cardstock & matted some white, then gingham papers onto it.

I had had this image already coloured up, so can't remember my colour combo for it.
I matted my image onto the same colour combination

I tied some satin ribbon around it in a bow & used foam pads to mount the image on.
I then die cut some leaves & used a die to cut my sentiment. I used craft artist to design my wording.
I used foam pads to mount this too
& there you have it.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
