Exciting news .........................

Good morning everyone, I am so excited to finally be able to share with you that

 I am now a  part of the

It's a fabby challenge blog & we will be having weekly challenges from the 6th of September.

So pop by here to keep upto date with all that will be happening with us all. I am so excited to be working with such a talented group of women & look forward to hopefully creating some inspiration for some of you.

So here is my first ever make for Creative Fingers Challenges

isn't she just the cutest.Her name is Paige & you can find her here
 I wanted to make a simple card as I wanted her to be the main focus without loads of embellishments.
So I simply added a few digi papers, some ribbon & some die cuts cut from holographic pink card.

Paige has been coloured in promarkers, I used Magenta, Cerise & Pink Carnation for her hair. Her skin is Coral, Sunkissed Pink, Blush & Baby Pink for the cheeks. Her dress & eye makeup have been done in Cyan, Duck Egg & Cool Aqua. I added some faux stitching & rounded the corners before mounting her on the card.
And there ya have my 1st challenge card, I hope you like her & will be able to join us in our challenges.

This week it's the turn of team B but I just had to join in.

I had a root through my digis & decided to use

All That Digital Stamp & you can find her here

& here is my make

The papers are all from various digi kits. I cut out a tag shape, inked the top half, covered the bottom with a paper & covered the join with a little bit of scrap ribbon from my stash.I used the same paper to punch the flowers & butterflies. I assembled my card & decorated with card candi & little pink self adhesive mirror squares.

I coloured the digi in with my promarkers, adding a little bit of sparkle to her trainers with a glitter gel pen. I then just cut her out & placed her onto the card with foam pads.

I hope you like it as I had great fun with this challenge & I look forward to seeing everyones creations

Good morning blogland, it's time for another challenge from

Here is this weeks inspirational photo

When I saw the photo I knew exactly image I wanted to use - My Fair Lady

& here is my make xxxx

I knew I wanted a larger card, so I made a 7.5"x7.5" card base, I used my score board to emboss the front of the card in a crisscross pattern. I also embossed the mat  & the digi itself. I made some flowers & dipped them in glitter & also glittered the flourish. I added some pearls to the butterflies & larger pearls to the embossed card base.

I took my inspiration from the colours of the photo as well as using flowers & tried to give it an elegant feel.

I had real trouble with this card as I am so unused to using so little colour & I didn't want it to appear flat or drab. I hope you like my make :)

She has been coloured with promarkers (I forgot to write a list of colours used, but it was the pale yellows, saffron etc.)

Through The Purple Haze Challenges - Lacey Sunshine

Good morning lovely folk, I hope you are all well. 

It's Monday, so that means it's time for another challenge from

Through The Purple Haze Challenges

We are mixing it up a little this week by having a little head to head between

the team A & team B members (with one of us winning a prize, so exciting )

Anyway, back to the challenge, Team A have been sponsored by the lovely

Lacy Sunshine Stamps

& they have very generously offered $20 for the  lucky winner to spend in their store.

This week we were using a bingo card theme

Your project must include 3 of the items above. Simply pick a line - vertically, horizontally or diagonally & use the 3 items in that line.

My pick was Bling, Dies & Flowers.

& here is my make

I have used the lovely Eleanor Free Spirit digi, isn't she so cute :)

I made an easel card & let the topper hang down, it stands using the handmade flower.

I used a die cut border & coloured it with my promarkers.

The paper is a digi & I have matted it onto yellow & orange layers, adding a lilac one to matt the digi.

I coloured her with promarkers & added some gems to her glasses & the corners of the iamge.

So here is my make using the oh so cute, Beach Baby

Isn't she so cute. I coloured her in pro-markers, using the colours from the photo as my inspiration. The sea shells have been printed from a digi kit, filled with glossy accents & cut out. The papers are all from my stash & the little letters are from docrafts.

Through The Purple Haze Challenges #4 Crafty Sentiments

Good morning everyone, it's time for another fab challenge over at

Through The Purple Haze Challenges

& this week it's the turn of the hazelnuts on team A

Our theme this week is cards with tickets or tags

The winner of this challenge will get to choose 3 DIGIS from the store, it'll be a hard choice for you to pick just 3 as I think they are all fab.

& here is my make

I inked up my background with distress inks, dropped some water droplets onto it & soaked up the excess with paper towels, I then used some bubble wrap to stamps randomly over the card.

The line of tickets is a mask.

I then stamped some tickets, inked them & added sentiments before cutting them out.

I added some punched & embossed butterflies to the ticket strip, added some flourishes that were cut from my robo (before she died, sob sob)

& made a cute little rolled rose.

Here is a close up of the oh so cute image, which I have coloured using promarkers. I was happy with how the folds in her dress turned out as I usually seem to have trouble with folds.
